Զինվորական համազգեստով և զինվորական հանդիսականի առաջ Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Ալիևը նոյեմբերի 8-ի իր սպառնալից ու ագրեսիվ ելույթում հայտարարել է, որ Սիսիանը, Գորիսը, Կապանը և այլ հայկական քաղաքներ իրենց տեսադաշտում են և Հայաստանը հասկանում է, թե դա ինչ է նշանակում։ Այս մասին Twitter-ում գրել է ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը:

«Դա քաղաքացիական բնակչությանը ահաբեկելու ակնառու գործողություն է», - գրել է նա։

Ավելի վաղ հայտնել էինք, որ Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը հաստատել է, որ այս տարվա սեպտեմբերին Ադրբեջանի զինված ուժերն են ագրեսիվ հարձակում գործել ՀՀ սուվերեն տարածքի վրա։

«Սեպտեմբերի 13-14-ի իրադարձություններն անսպասելի չեն եղել։ Մեր արձագանքը կարող էր մի փոքր պակաս լինել, եթե նրանք կատարեին իրենց պարտավորությունները»,-հայտարարել էր Ալիևը Շուշիում կազմակերպված միջոցառմանը:
