Ինչպես գրել է  The Wall Street Journal հրատարակությունը Amazon-ի հիմնադիր Ջեֆ Բեզոսը հայտարարել է, որ տնտեսությունը նախազգուշական ազդանշաններ է տալիս, դրանով իսկ նա միացել է այն այլ կորպորատիվ առաջնորդներին, որոնք նախազգուշացնում են, որ ԱՄՆ-ը գնում է դեպի անկում: Բեզոսն ասել է, որ մարդիկ պետք է պատրաստ լինեն հնարավոր տնտեսական անկմանը: «Այս տնտեսության մեջ հավանականությունները խոսում են այն մասին, որ պետք է փակել դիտահորերը»,- ասել է Amazon-ի հիմնադիրը։
