Պրահայում մեկնարկել է Հայաստանի վարչապետի, Ադրբեջանի, Ֆրանսիայի նախագահների ու Եվրոպական խորհդի ղեկավարի առանձնազրույցը։ Սա Փաշինյանի և Ալիևի առաջին հանդիպումն է շաբաթներ առաջ Հայաստանի վրա իրականացված հարձակումից հետո, որի հետևանքով Ադրբեջանը օկուպացրել է Հայաստանի որոշ տարածքներ՝ առաջխաղացման գնալով Ջերմուկում և Սյունիքում։

Քառակողմ պաշտոնական այս հանդիպումից առաջ, սակայն, Ալիևն ու Փաշինյանը արդեն իսկ որոշակի շփումներ էին ունեցել, թուրքական պատվիարկությունը, մասնավորապես, սոցիալական ցանցերում կադրեր է տարածել, որտեղ երևում է՝ ինչպես են Ալիևն ու Փաշինյանը զրուցում, սեղանի շուրջ են նաև Թուրքիայի նախագահն ու Հունգարիայի վարչապետը, ինչ-որ փուլում նրանց է միանում նաև Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնը։
