Իրանի արտգործնախարար Հոսեյն Ամիր Աբդոլլահիանը ադրբեջանցի գործընկեր Ջեյհուն Բայրամովի հետ հեռախոսազրույցում ընդգծել է, որ Թեհրանը հայ-իրանական սահմանը դիտարկում է որպես պատմական հաղորդակցության ճանապարհ, որը պետք է անփոփոխ մնա։ Այս մասին գրում է IRNA գործակալությունը:

Հեռախոսազրույցի ընթացքում Ամիր Աբդոլլահիանը և Բայրամովը մտքեր են փոխանակել տարածաշրջանում վերջին զարգացումների շուրջ։

Լուրջ մտահոգություն հայտնելով Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի միջև բախումների նոր փուլի մեկնարկի կապակցությամբ՝ Իրանի արտգործնախարարն ընդգծել է Թեհրանի պատրաստակամությունը՝ օգնելու խնդրի խաղաղ և քաղաքական ճանապարհով կարգավորելուն։

Ամիր Աբդոլլահիանը նշել է, որ Իրանը մշտապես ընդգծում է երկրների, այդ թվում՝ Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի տարածքային ամբողջականության պահպանումը։

«Իրանը հայ-իրանական սահմանը դիտարկում է որպես հաղորդակցության պատմական ուղի, որը պետք է անփոփոխ մնա»,- ասել է նա։

Ընդգծելով, որ տարածաշրջանը չի կարող հանդուրժել նոր պատերազմ, նա նշել է, որ Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետությունը կողմերին խնդրել է զսպվածություն դրսևորել:
