Ռազմաավիացիոն համալսարանի և Վազգեն Սարգսյանի անվան ռազմական համալսարանի միատեղումով ստեղծում ենք ռազմական ակադեմիա, որը ենթադրելու է, որ այնտեղ ունենալու ենք ամբիոններ և համապատասխան ֆակուլտետներ, նաև` սահմանապահ զորքերի ուսուցման համար։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սուրեն Պապիկյանը:

«Մինչ այժմ Հայաստանում սահմանապահ զորքերի համար սպաներ պատրաստելող որևէ ռազմաուսումնական կենտրոն չի եղել»,-ասել է նա:

Պապիկյանը նշել է, որ ակադեմիան ավարտելուց հետո սահմանապահ զորքերում ծառայության անցնելը կիրականացվի ԱԱԾ տնօրենի միջնորդությամբ, պաշտպանության նախարարի հրամանով։
