Дания объявила о присоединении к оборонной политике Европейского союза. Об этом сообщил верховный представитель Евросоюза по иностранным делам и политике безопасности Жозеп Боррель в ходе встречи с министрами иностранных дел стран ЕС в Люксембурге.

«Министры сегодня отпразднуют присоединение Дании к европейской оборонной политике. Дания официально уведомила нас об этом», — сказал дипломат.

В Совете Евросоюза сообщали, что согласованная концепция обороны Европейского союза подразумевает формирование сил быстрого реагирования численностью 5 тысяч человек.
