Անկրկնելի, իր ձեռքգրով խորը դերասան էր. իսկակակն ինտելիգենտ մարդ, հանդուրժող, բարի ցանկացող: Այս մասին, այսօր՝ հունիսի 15-ին, ՀՀ ժողովրդական արտիստ Ռաֆայել Քոթանջյանի հոգեհանգստին լրագրողների հետ զրույցում նշեց Թումանյանի անվան տիկնիկային թատրոնի գեղարվեստական ղեկավար Ռուբեն Բաբայանը:

«Երկրային կյանքը շատ կարճ է, բայց իր կյանքը, արտիստի կյանքը իհարկե, շարունակվում է հուշերով, ֆիլմերով: Այդ գույնը լրացնել հնարավոր չէ, այդ պակասը շատ երկար զգալու ենք, որովհետեւ Ռաֆայել Քոթանջյանը անկրկնելի էր, իրեն երբեք հնարավոր չէր խառնել որեւէ մեկի հետ: Նա մտավ իր ոճով, իր ձեռագրով եւ երբեք իրեն չդավաճանեց, ոչ մեկին չփորձեց նմանվել: Նա Ռաֆայել Քոթանջյանն էր ու վերջ»,-ասաց Բաբայանը:

Ռաֆայել Քոթանջյանի վերջին հրաժեշտը՝ հունիսի 16-ին՝ ժամը 11:00-13:00-ին, Գաբրիել Սունդուկյանի անվան ազգային ակադեմիական թատրոնից:
