ԵՄ-ն համագործակցում է Հայաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի հետ, որպեսզի ձգտեն համաձայնագրի հաստատմանը, մենք դեռ հեռու ենք դրանից․ Բորել

Եվրոպական Միությունը ամեն կերպ կաջակցի Հայաստանին ու Ադրբեջանին համաձայնության պայմանագրի  հաստատման դեպքում այն կյանքի կոչելու համար։ Այս մասին ասել է ԵՄ դիվանագիտական ծառայության ղեկավար Ժոզեպ Բորելը՝ պատասխանելով հարցին, թե անվտանգության ինչ երաշխիքներ կարող է տրամադրել ԵՄ-ն Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի բնակիչներին Հայաստանի ու Ադրբեջանի միջև պայմանավորվածությունների ձեռք բերման դեպքում։

«Մենք իսկապես ուրախ կլինենք, եթե այդ համաձայնությունը ձեռք բերվի։ Եվ մենք համագործակցում ենք երկու կողմերի հետ, որպեսզի նրանք իսկապես ձգտեն այս համաձայնագրի հաստատմանը։ Մենք դեռ հեռու ենք դրանից, սակայն եթե դա տեղի ունենա, ապա Եվրոպական Միությունը կտրամադրի հնարավոր ցանկացած օգնություն, որպեսզի աջակցի այդ համաձայնության կյանքի կոչմանը»,- ասել է Բորելը։
