Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը իֆթարի ընթացքում օտարերկրյա դիվանագետների հետ հանդիպմանը ելույթ է ունեցել և կարճ անդրադարձ արել հայ-թուրքական հարաբերություններին: Այս մասին տեղեկացնում է ermenihaber.am-ը։

Նա մասնավորապես ասել է․ «Համոզված ենք, որ Ադրբեջանի բռնազավթված տարածքների ազատագրումից հետո մեր տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության հնարավորություն է ընձեռնվել։ Այս հնարավորությունն անտեղի չկորցնելու համար մեր հարևան Հայաստանի հետ անկեղծորեն շարունակում ենք կարգավորման գործընթացը»։

Նշենք, որ «իֆթար» բառը, որպես կրոնական տերմին, նշանակում է պահքի ավարտ։ Իֆթարը երեկոյան ընթրիքն է, որն ընդունում են իսլամի հետևորդները ռամադան ամսին։ Իսկ ռամադանը (նաև ռամազան) իսլամական օրացույցի 9-րդ ամիսն է, որը համարվում է մուսուլմանական աշխարհի պահքի ամիսը։
