ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սուրեն Պապիկյանն ապրիլի 1-ին ընդունել է Հայաստանում Գերմանիայի Դաշնային Հանրապետության արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան Վիկտոր Ռիխտերին:

Զրուցակիցները քննարկել են հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանագոտում և Արցախում ստեղծված իրադրությունը: ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարը նշել է, որ ադրբեջանական կողմի գործողությունները վտանգում են տարածաշրջանային փխրուն կայունությունը, համոզմունք հայտնելով իրավիճակի սրումը կանխելու համար միջազգային հանրության կողմից միջոցների ձեռնարկման անհրաժեշտության վերաբերյալ:

Դեսպան Ռիխտերը հաստատել է, որ գերմանական կողմն աջակցում է առկա լարվածության թուլացման և խաղաղ ճանապարհով խնդիրների կարգավորման ջանքերին:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են նաև երկկողմ և բազմակողմ ձևաչափով համագործակցության զարգացմանն առնչվող հարցեր:
