Ադրբեջանը, լինելով խաղաղության կողմնակից, պատրաստ է Հայաստանի հետ բանակցություններ սկսել խաղաղության համաձայնագրի շուրջ՝ հիմնված Ադրբեջանի տարածքային ամբողջականության, ինքնիշխանության և միջազգայնորեն ճանաչված սահմանների անձեռնմխելիության սկզբունքների վրա, ասվում է Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևի՝ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջոզեֆ Բայդենին ուղղված պատասխան նամակում։

«Մենք՝ որպես խաղաղության կողմնակիցներ, պատրաստ ենք Հայաստանի հետ բանակցություններ սկսել խաղաղության համաձայնագրի շուրջ՝ հիմնվելով միջազգային իրավունքի հիմնարար սկզբունքների վրա, ինչպիսիք են տարածքային ամբողջականությունը, ինքնիշխանությունը և մեր երկրի միջազգայնորեն ճանաչված սահմանների անձեռնմխելիությունը», - ընդգծել է Ալիևը։

Նա նաև հույս է հայտնել, որ Վաշինգտոնը կաջակցի Ադրբեջանի խաղաղության օրակարգին, գրում է vestikavkaza.ru-ն:
