Ադրբեջանը մտադիր է ավելացնել Թուրքիայի միջոցով գազի մատակարարումները Եվրոպա  եւ հարցը քննարկում է Անկարայի եւ Բրյուսելի հետ, տեղեկացրել է հանրապետության էներգետիկայի նախարար Փյարվիզ Շահբազովը, հաղորդել է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։

Նրա խոսքով՝ բնական գազի մատակարարումները Եվրոպա կավելանան։ «[Հարավային գազային] միջանցքը չօգտագործված պոտենցիալ ունի։ Թուրքիայի հետ միասին մենք կարող ենք ավելի մեծ ծավալով գազ մատակարարել Եվրոպա։ Մենք շփման մեջ ենք ԵՄ-ի եւ մեր եղբայրական Թուրքիայի հետ այս հարցի շուրջ»,- նրա խոսքերը մեջբերել է Milliyet թուրքական թերթը։

Ադրբեջանն ունի բնական գազի պաշարներ, որոնք 100 տարի բավական կլինեն ներքին սպառման եւ Եվրոպա մատակարարելու համար, հավաստիացրել է Շահբազովը։ «Մենք 2,3 տրլն խորանարդ մետր գազի հաստատված պաշարներ ունենք։ Մենք կարող ենք բնական գազ մատակարարել մեզ, մեր գործընկերներին եւ Եվրոպային 100 տարի»։
