ԱՄՆ-ում մեկ գալոն բենզինի միջին արժեքը 4,17 դոլար է, ինչը պատմական ռեկորդ է, հայտնում է Reuters-ը՝ հղում անելով Ամերիկյան ավտոմոբիլային ասոցիացիային։ ԱՄՆ-ի որոշ շրջաններում գինը գերազանցել է 5 դոլարը մեկ գալոնի դիմաց:

Նախորդ ռեկորդը գրանցվել էր 2008 թվականի հուլիսին, երբ ԱՄՆ-ում բենզինի միջին գինը մեկ գալոնի դիմաց հասել էր 4,11 դոլարի:

ԱՄՆ-ում բենզինը թանկանում է Ռուսաստանից երկիր էներգակիրների ներմուծման մոտալուտ արգելքի մասին լուրերի ֆոնին։
 
Հիշեցնենք, որ երեքշաբթի ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը կհայտարարի ռուսական նավթի, բնական գազի և ածուխի ներմուծման արգելքի մասին։ ԱՄՆ-ն այդ քայլին կգնա ինքնուրույն՝ առանց իր եվրոպացի դաշնակիցների, որոնց շրջանում այս հարցի վերաբերյալ տարաձայնություններ են առաջացել։
