COVID-19 համավարակը կավարտվի 2-3 տարի հետո։ Այսպիսի կարծիք է հայտնել վարակաբան Եվգենի Տիմակովը (Ռուսաստան)։

ՏԱՍՍ-ի հետ զրույցում մասնագետը նշել է, որ որպեսզի համավարակն ավարտվի, անհրաժեշտ է, որ մարդկանց մեծ մասի մոտ ձեւավորվի կորոնավիրուսի դեմ լիարժեք իմունիտետ։

«Ինչպես իմանալ, որ այն (համավարակը) ավարտվել է. երբ մարդիկ հիվանդանոց չեն ընկնի՝ մահվան վերջաբանով։ Երկու-երեք տարի, ոչ ավելի շուտ։ Կձեւավորվի լիարժեք իմունիտետ, եւ վիրուսին լիարժեք ադապտացում կլինի»,- ասել է բժիշկը։

Նրա խոսքով՝ չի բացառվում, որ կորոնավիրուսը չի էլ անհետանա։ Այս կարծիքի են նաեւ արեւմտյան շատ մասնագետներ, որոնք նշում են, որ, գուցե, կորոնավիրուսը կմնա ընդմիշտ՝ որպես գրիպի եւ շնչուղիների սուր վարակների տիպի սեզոնային հիվանդություն։
