Երեկ ՀՀ երկրորդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը հայտարարեց, որ երկրի նախագահը պետք է լինի հոգևորական։ Այս թեմայի մասին զրուցել ենք Շիրակի թեմի առաջնորդ, Տեր Միքայել արքեպիսկոպոս Աջապահյանի հետ:

Հարցին, թե ինչ կարծիք ունի այս մասին, թեմի առաջնորդը ասաց, որ հոգևորականը ևս մեր երկրի քաղաքացին է և ունի իրավունք զբաղեցնել այդ պաշտոնը։ Անդրադառնալով հարցին, թե ինքը արդյոք կստանձներ այդ պաշտոնը Տեր Միքայել Աջապահյանն ասաց, որ ինքը հոգևորականի կյանքում էլ իրեն երջանիկ է զգում։ Պաշտոնը բավականին պատասխանատու է, և ինքն էլ կարծում է, որ նման պատասխանատվությունից չի խուսափի։
