Նեւադայում 68 տարեկան հասակում վախճանվել է հայտնի ամերիկացի կատակերգու, դերասան եւ գրող Լուի Անդերսոնը: Ինչպես հայտնում է People պարբերականը, վերջին շրջանում նա բուժվում էր արյան քաղցկեղի դեմ։

«Նա երկու քույր ունի՝ Լիզան եւ Շաննա Անդերսոնը։ Մահվան պատճառ են դարձել քաղցկեղի բարդացումները», - հայտնել է հրապարակախոս Գլեն Շվարցը, որը հաստատել է դերասանի մահվան մասին տեղեկությունը։

Հրատարակությունը նշում է, որ իր կարիերայի ընթացքում Անդերսոնը դարձել է ամերիկացիների ամենահայտնի եւ սիրված կատակերգուներից մեկը, իսկ Comedy Central հրատարակությունը նրան ընդգրկել է «Պատմության մեջ լավագույն 100 ստենդափերների» ցուցակում: Բացի այդ, նա արժանացել է «Էմմի» հեղինակավոր, ինչպես նաեւ նվաճել է երկու «ցերեկային Էմմի»՝ ամբողջ աշխարհում հայտնի «Կյանքը Լուի հետ» մուլտսերիալի համար 1997 եւ 1998 թվականներին:
