Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնը Բրյուսելում Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարների հետ եռակողմ հանդիպումից հետո գրառում է արել «Թվիթեր»-ի իր միկրոբլոգում՝ նշելով, որ Ֆրանսիան երբեք չի լքի հայերին:   

«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ հանդիպման ավարտից հետո «Թվիթեր»-ում արված գրառման մեջ Մակրոնը մասնավորապես նշել է. «Մենք երբեք չենք լքի հայերին: Մենք մշտապես կփնտրենք լուծումներ տևական խաղաղության համար: Հորդորում եմ, որ տոնական այս շրջանը դառնա մարդասիրական առաջընթացի ու հաշտեցման շրջան»:
