Օգոստոսի 17-ին քոստիկանության Էրեբունու բաժնում տեղեկություններ ստացվեցին, որ Գարեգին Հովսեփյան փողոցում երիտասարդ աղջկա դի կա:

26-ամյա աղջկա մարմնին բռնությանհետքեր կային, նրան սպանել էին:

Դեպքի առթիվ քրեական գործ հարուցվեց. Ոստիկաններն օպերատիվ տեղեկություններ ձեռք բերեցին առանձնապես ծանր հանցագործության մեջ կասկածվող անձի ինքնության վերաբերյալ:

Իրավապահները պարզեցին նաեւ դեպքի մի շարք հանգամանքներ. Նախնական տվյալներով աղջկան խեղդամահ էր արել նրա ընկերը՝ օտարերկրացի 32-ամյա մի տղամարդ: Ձեռնարկվում են բոլոր միջոցները մեղադրյալին հայտնաբերելու եւ քննությանը  ներկայացնելու ուղղությամբ:
